I think the most important aspect of taking CS is:  For someone who is not
taking it, at least every few days, one should start slow and observe before
building up the amount taken.

You may may know much more about this than I do;  I certainly was not 
aware of the death rate.   I only recall a number of well-publicized 
cases of mass-outbreaks resulting in fatalities.   One of the hamburger 
chains in the US was responsible for an outbreak some years back. . . . 
  in the case in Japan, again, the treatment released toxins which caused
the deaths.
