And what is the problem w Vit C derived from corn? <
The best place to learn about salt/c:

It involves ingesting concurrent doses of 1 gram salt and 1 gram vitamin c,
increasing the number of daly doses gradually to 1 dose each per 12-15
pounds body weight. Our daughter is now at 13 grams each per day, taken
about an hour apart.
Corn source C carries the allergens of corn. I can take no corn source c
myself and it made our daughter very weak. I suspect many of the reported
herx effects may be due to corn source c and could be cleared up quickly by
use of a better product. We are very happy with the powder from the Vitamin
C Foundation.
Also, merely buying non-corn ascorbic acid is no guarantee of goodness. I'm
looking at about $50 worth of useless product right now, that grew mold
inside of the capsules.
