My dad had pancreatic and liver cancer. The oncologists did not give him much hope at stage 4 when it was discovered last year. In any case he did the chemo route but also added creative visualizations and acupuncture to reduce the effects of the chemo (nausea ,weakness) and to restore his energy flow. That was about a year ago. His cancer marker is now between a one and a zero and he continues to do what he loves which is entertain people with his music (piano player). I told him when he started the first day in the hospital don't buy into whatever they tell you. You WILL live you HAVE a purpose and you MUST believe it. I believed it with every cell of my being and told him so. The minute you give in to fear is when you start to go down hill. Fear, anger, and depression are killers. Stay upbeat. There are so many great alternative tools available to us these days there is no reason for anyone to give up hope. We have CS of course which according to some reports has shown to cause cancer cells to dedifferentiate (change back to normal cells) when in the presence of CS. Then all of the natural herbs and immune boosters. Then there is the Beck protocol which includes CS , magpulsing, ozonating, and zapping. Then all of the wonderful energy therapies like EFT, Quantum Touch etc. It may be overwhelming when considering all the options available but thank God they are available to all of us. I'm sure other silver-list members will add to the alternatives available and emotional support as well. Remember most physicians will only use the most conservative approaches (chemo/radiation) for fear of lawsuits and losing their license (AMA). Use the alternatives that you feel most comfortable with and never give up.
