I buy my diatomaceous earth (DE), at the feed store. It cost $19.95 for 50 lb of food grade DE. I use it on weevils in grain, in the goat's loose mineral mixture (for worms), on ant beds, dust the dogs for ticks and fleas and to dust the garden without poisonous chemicals. It looks like sharp glass under an electron microscope. Lots more information on the internet and this is my favorite mined product, made from diatoms. Can't find anything better in my opinion. Do NOT confuse the pool type of DE with food grade because the pool type has been heated and is ineffective for the above things.
