Sometime in the future, someone is going to figure out how to "fix"
human DNA so that we produce our own endogenous vitamin C, as many
other creatures so. I'd be willing to bet that millions of people
would undergo the procedure; the idea of "natural" is increasingly of
little use in making sense of the modern world.
