It sounds like you are experiencing what we refer to as herx. Is the reaction general weakness, and increasing of flu like symptoms? Herx is short for Herximer, and refers to the effect on the body when the CS kills the pathogens, and then the body has to dispose of them. It is a toxic reaction to the dead pathogens. If you are getting a herx, then that means that it is working. Normally one who has a chronic condition that results in a herx will increase dosage as the pathogens are destroyed, until at some point they are gone, and there is no more herx. Taking too much initially for seariously ill people can be deadly (just as it can be with any antibiotic), so it is best to take it in moderation, increasing the intake as the herx diminishes over time to maintian an acceptable level of herx. Take LOTS of water to wash the toxins out of the body as quickly as possible.
