No, I have no information on that, but my mom who was a hairdresser in her 20's 
heard the same about permanent dyes and cancer.  She is now 94 never dyed her 
hair.  I am in my 60's I do not have much in the way of gray hair so I use 
semipermanent dye.

Only wish I knew the truth, I still wonder why no one has done any study on 
this.
 Too many people have cancer, but look under their sink and what do you find!!!

When I was in Brazil and a few other South American countries you could tell 
which people used the henna, when in the sun the hair looked purple.
