The galactose/cataract connection has nothing to do with what
contaminants might be in milk, or with unhealthy cows or goats.
Galactose is an enzyme needed to digest lactose. If indeed galactose is
the problem, it would be a problem no matter what the quality or source
of the milk/dairy. And if you read my post through to the end, I didn't
suggest everyone going no milk forever. I merely suggested that in a
case of cataracts where one wants to avoid surgery, going no dairy for a
year or so to see if it makes an improvement might be worth a try.

We must remember to make a distinction between the
milk that comes from sick, drugged commercial cows and
the natural product (assuming you can find it) that
humans have consumed for many thousands of years.
