Very interesting observation about bananas and low carb diet, but it is not
true for everyone. I have been on low carb diet for two years, the only
sucessful regimen I'v found for losing weight and keeping it off, and
bananas are in my diet almost everyday. I have often eaten a banana for
evening snack and lost a lb. the next day. Maybe has something to do with
individual metabolism, and I do have a good one.

The banana story is probably propagated by the banana cartel ;) --
most of the groups I'm on are avoiding high-carb foods, and
bananas are one of the highest carb foods you could eat.
