Well the thing is, before we all learned things scientifically and had
computers, TV etc., we *did* all go by our feelings i.e. If we didn't have a
lot of meat (which poor people didn't) we would probably have filled up on
berries perhaps, or apples or pears maybe, depending on what grew in the
area. However, I'm sure you are right as you seem to be a very learned
person, but I think if I am going to have some bad effects from the way I
have always eaten, I would have them by now, as I am 64. I never have to
go to the doctor, have an excellent memory and digestive system, so I must
be doing something right! Dee

You need to stop trying to go by your feelings... they have no
scientific bearing on reality.
The reality is, fruits do not need to be inundated with hydrochloric
acid to be digested - they digest very easily, just from their own
Enzymes (this of course presumes that they are raw).
When you eat fruits *after* a heavy carb or protein meal, they get
stuck, sitting on top of the food that requires hours to digest,
resulting in fermentation. This fermentation results in lots of toxins
being released.
As I said - some people can tolerate this better than otehrs, but if
they continue to abuse themselves this way, it will catch up with them,
sooner or later.
