Strange, because from the articles Doris sent me, having insufficient iodine is what *causes* cancer, especially breast. Apparently, the breast needs 100 times the amount of iodine that the thyroid does, and that needs a lot to function properly. I think the idea behind the Synthroid was they didn't want my thyroid to work, and possibly create another tumor. They took-out over half of the thyroid. The doctors told me to avoid iodine.
