Be careful what you are using to filter particles OUT because coffee filters and cotton or whatever else you use have unhealthy things in them that could be adding things back INTO your water that you DON"T want. Coffee filters are bleached and have chemicals in them. Cotton isn't as pure as you think it is either. Doris

Relating to nanosilver, we are talking about nanometer (billionths of a meter) sized particles, which nothing will filter out. OK, there are some special ceramic filters that can filter out even minerals, and reverse osmosis, if set to its highest setting, can remove minerals from water, so I would expect it would filter out the mineral silver as well.
