I have a Vita Mix and consider it well worth the price I paid. Bought it for $400+ at a show. Yes it is a glorified blender but the motor is so powerful it will do things my blender won't. I've burned out at least one blender but this thing won't die no matter what I do. I also have a juicer and quite frankly I prefer to have my fiber. We all need more fiber in our diet and by using a juicer you are taking out a lot of nutrients and all the fiber. I like my fiber. I like my Vita Mix. Doris

I thought that a vita mix was just a high powered blender that crushed ice and fruit. Does it work as effectively as a regular juice extractor? I have been wanting to buy a good juicer but find them so cumbersome. sol, have you ever had a test with contrast dyes? I told a tech that I was allergic and she told me that I had no choice and that i would need to take appropriate measure like steroids or benedryl to offset the symptoms. I choose not to have the test. Be a PS3 game guru. Get your game face on with the latest PS3 news and previews at Yahoo! Games. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
