The cmake scripts can be adjusted to only use them on > demand (by adding an option) For debian, as far as I understand, it is also important that there were no proprietary icons in source code tarball, because this tarball will became a part of debian distributive. So it would be necessary to create two make targets: "make distr" and "make licence-clear-distr", and have two source code tarballs in download area... In that way it will be possible to include one of them into Debian distributive... :-/ For me it seems to be a little bit twisted solution...
