14:00 Sudjenje Slobodanu Milosevicu pred Haskim tribunalom nastavljeno
je ispitivanjem sledeceg svedoka optuzbe Felima Elsamija iz opstine
Orahovac.

The trial against Slobodan Milosevic before the ICTY has been resumed
with interrogation of the next accusation witness, an Albanian Felim
Elsami from Orahovac municipality.


13:45 Predsednik Koordinacionog tela za jug Srbije Nebojsa Covic pozvao
je gradjane Bujanovca da ostanu jedinstveni jer samo tako mogu dati puni
doprinos stabilizaciji prilika u regionu.

President of the Coordination Body for South of Serbia Nebojsa Covic
invited citizens of Bujanovac to stay united because that was the only
way to give the full contribution to stabilization of occasions in the
region.


13:30 Predsedavajuci Organizacije za evropsku bezbednost i saradnju
Zaime Gama izjavio je u cetvrtak u Becu da bi najavljeni referendum u
Crnoj Gori trebalo odloziti na neko vreme kako bi se pokusalo nastaviti

OSCE Presiding Officer Jaime Gama says today in Vienna that announced
referendum in Montenegro should be postponed for some time, for joint
state of Serbia and Montenegro to be kept if possible.


13:15 Clan Predsednistva Demokratske partije socijalista Igor Luksic
ocenio je da od danasnjeg sastanka crnogorskih zvanicnika sa Havijerom
Solanom i predstavnicima saveznih i srpskih vlasti "ne treba ocekivati
definitivne odgovore".

Democratic Party of Socialists Presidency member Igor Luksic estimated
that definitive solution shouldn't be expected from today's meeting
between Montenegrin officials, Javier Solana and representatives of
federal and Serbian authorities.

je u cetvrtak da je crnogorski predsednik Milo Djukanovic prihvatio
predlog visokog predstavnika EU Havijera Solane za buduce uredjenje
zajednicke drzave Srbije i Crne Gore.

Montenegrin Foreign Minister Branko Lukovac denied today that
Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic had accepted EU High
Representative Javier Solana's proposal for future structure of the
joint state of Serbia and Montenegro.

ukljucuje Madjarsku, Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Makedoniju, Rumuniju,
Bugarsku, a mozda i Hrvatsku, kaze ministar za ekonomsku saradnju sa
inostranstvom Srbije Goran Pitic. Strane investicije u nasoj zemlji ove

covers Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria and
perhaps Croatia, says Minister for foreign economic cooperation Goran
Pitic. Foreign investments in our country will be doubled and that is
why Serbia has to make its tax laws attractive for foreign investments.


12:00 Nekadasnji koordinator zatvora u hrvatskom gradu Gospicu Ivan
Markovic potvrdio je pred Zupanijskim sudom u Rijeci da je u oktobru
1991. godine u Gospicu bilo likvidacija srpskih civila. On se na sudu
pojavio kao svedok u procesu protiv generala Mirka Norca, bivseg
sekretara kriznog staba za Liku Tihomira Oreskovica i jos trojice iz
tzv. Gospicke grupe optuzenih za ratne zlocine nad srpskim civilima.

Former coordinator of the prison in Gospic, Croatia, Ivan Markovic
confirmed before the municipal court in Rijeka that in October 1991 in
Gospic there were killings of Serb civilians. He had appeared in court
as a witness in the process against general Mirko Norac, former
secretary of the crisis staff for Lika Tihomir Oreskovic and another
three from the so-called Gospic group, accused with war crimes over Serb
civilians.

capable to answer the questions for reasons of health.


11:30 Predstavnik NATO u Briselu saopstio je juce da Kfor od maja prosle
godine patrolira jugoslovensko-makedonskom granicom duz teritorije
Kosova na temelju sporazuma o "privremenom operativnom postupku",
sklopljenom sa vladom u Skoplju.

NATO representative in Brussels has said in a statement yesterday that
KFOR was patroling along the Kosmet's part of the Yugoslav-Macedonian
border from May 2001, on the base of the agreement on "temporary
operative procedure", made with the Government in Skopje.


11:15 Makedonski MIP saopstio je juce da su ambasadori Makedonije u UN i
u NATO dobili instrukcije da upute demars zbog izjave zvanicnika Kfora i
UNMIK-a na Kosovu da je dogovor oko granice izmedju Makedonije i SRJ, u
delu prema Kosovu, za njih nevazeci, sve dok se ne iznadje konacno
politicko resenje za ovu pokrajinu.

Macedonian Foreign Ministry reported yesterday that Macedonian
ambassadors in the UN and the NATO have recieved the instructions to
send a demarche due to KFOR and UNMIK offcicials' statement that
agreement on border between FRY and Macedonia, in Kosmet's part, is
invalid for them until final political solution for that province is
found.

je u Pristini izrazio optimizam u skoro formiranje vlade Kosova,
ocenivsi da bi se time otvorio put za odrzavanje opstinskih izbora u

OSCE Presiding Officer and Chief of the Portugal Diplomacy Jaime Gama
yesterday in Pristina has expressed optimism regarding the forming of
the Kosmet Government in a short time, estimating that after that the
municipal elections in the Province could be organized.

tela za jug Srbije Nebojsa Covic izjavio je u Bujanovcu da je situacija
na tom podrucju "u svakom pogledu mnogo bolja, nema vise rata i albanski
ekstremisti su razoruzani".

Serbian Government Deputy President and President of the State
Coordination Body for South of Serbia Nebojsa Covic stated in Bujanovac
yesterday that situation in that region "is much better in every view,
there is no war at present and Albanian extremists are disarmed".


10:30 U severnom delu Kosovske Mitrovice vise stotina Srba danas je
blokiralo ulice i stanicu UN policije, protestujuci zbog hapsenja
dvojice Srba.

Several hundered Serbs have blocked the streets and the UN Police
station today in Norhtern Kosovska Mitrovica, protesting because two
Serbs were arrested earlier.


10:15 Predstavnici SR Jugoslavije su dobrodosli u Haskom tribunalu i
mogu pratiti sudjenje Slobodanu Milosevicu iz publike ali bez posebnog
statusa, odgovor je Tribunala na zahtev jugoslovenskih vlasti od 12.
februara da im se dodeli polozaj posmatraca sa posebnim privilegijama.

Representatives of FR Yugoslavia are welcomed in the ICTY and they could
follow the trial against Slobodan Milosevic as audience, without the
special status, the ICTY has responded to Yugoslav authorities' request
from February 12th for it's representative to be given position as an
observer with special privileges.
