Dear Madam/Sir, I am trying to bring to you attention the tragedy that is happening to the Serbs, in Kosovo since yesterday, to which our media and many irresponsible world politicians are referring as Ethnic Clashes in Kosovo. It is not Serbs who wanted this latest fight, to the contrary. What is happening is total assault of thousands of Albanians in Kosovo on everything that is Serbian: churches, houses, property and lives. This is a detrmined action to physically remove Serbians from Kosovo and illegally proclaim independence of Kosovo.
The current extent of violence against the Serbians in Kosovo is of such proportions that it needs much more space in news and much more attention and actions by our government. These latest attacks on Serbs in Kosovo are much bigger story than the bombing in Madrid. I am appalled that the magnitude of this tragedy is hidden from the Canadian public at large. Our government contributed with10% of bombing in NATO's effort towards putting Albanians in the driving seat in Kosovo. For that reason, it is irresponsible that you are so silent and inactive, at this time when tragedy is developing in front of our eyes, and it is perpetrated by your protégés. For last fourteen years there is lack of compassion, in the ranks of Canadian politicians and media, when Serbs are victims of ethnic violence. This attitude is appalling and disappointing and it is an insult to the Canadians of the Serbian origin. This type of systematic unfair treatment amounts to apartheid.
