odluku Ustavnog suda Srbije kojim je privremeno obustavljena primena zakona o
pomoci haskim optuzenicima. 'Nadamo se da ce u roku od trideset dana Skupstina
Srbije izmeniti Zakon tako da on bude prihvatljiv i onima koji su glasali protiv
njega prilikom usvajanja', saopstio je SPO.
The Serbian
Renewal Movement (SPO) welcomed today the decision of the Constitutional Court
of Serbia whereby a temporary ban is imposed on the implementation of the law on
aid to defendants in the war crimes tribunal. 'We hope that within 30 days the
Serbian Assembly will change the Law so that it is acceptable also to those who
voted against it,' SPO said in a statement.

Democratic Center President Dragoljub Micunovic today welcomed the
decision of the Serbian Constitutional Court to temporarily ban the Law on the
rights of the indictees held by the International Criminal Tribunal for the
former Yugoslavia in The Hague and the members of their families. 'Why was it
necessary to adopt so hastily such a law that leads us to a series of
international problems, and why is one of the first laws to be adopted against
the Serbian Constitution?' - Micunovic asked the Serbian government at a news

German Ambassador in Belgrade Kurt Leonberger said
today he did not believe that the Montenegrin authorities would organise a
referendum on state independence, assessing that Premier Milo Djukanovic was
using the issue as a 'political tool.' Leonberger said in his Interview to the
weekly Monitor that the story on independence was a very good strategy to avoid
discussions about the real problems of Montenegro, economic growth, social
stability and justice. Djukanovic is using independence as a weapon against
Belgrade, and partly the European Union.'

to establish a partnership relation with ethnic minority councils. 'The
understanding for the requests of ethnic councils of the Slovak, Bulgarian,

minorities, demonstrated on Wednesday by Serbian Parliament President Predrag

Witness-collaborator Miladin Suvajdzic testified

Zoran Djindjic today. Suvajdzic, who, during the investigation of the murder of
premier Djindjic, admitted to have been a member of the Zemun 'clan', that he
had participated in the murder and put the blame on other members of the
criminal group, had received the status of witness-collaborator in this trial at
the proposal of the prosecutor.

Serbian Interior Minister
Dragan Jocic said today that, fo the time being, he did not have intelligence
that terrorist attacks might take place in Serbia but that, for the reason of
the country's position, had to be changed the 'philosophy of security' and
measures of protection enhanced. That is why underway is the formation of a
separate unit that will react to a large scale disruptions of public peace and
order, because given all the dangers threatening us, besides the gendarmerie
that exists, should be formed a small and efficient unit for intervention, Jocic
said.

muslimanskih ratnika iz dvorista Vojnog muzeja na Kalemegdanu, saopstila da

obelezja i da su preduzete mere za precizno utvrdjivanje odgovornosti za taj
dogadjaj. Kamena obelezja muslimanskih ratnika - sehida su, odlukom nekadasnjeg

Information Service issued a statement, following the removal and damage on two
Muslim stone memorials in the Military Museum backyard, which says that the SMAF
General Staff strongly condemns this act and that the investigation is underway.
By the decision of former Head of the Museum, Colonel Idriz Cejvan, these stone
memorials were transferred in 1960 from Bosnia-Herzegovina to the Military
Museum backyard. In the last few days, someone took the liberty to remove two
stones, damaging one of them.

povodom odluke VSO, donete 2. aprila ove godine, da se taj zavod transformise i

Montenegrin
President Filip Vujanovic visited yesterday, as a member of the Supreme Defence
Council, the Repair Institute in Tivat, after the Supreme Defence Council's
April 2nd decision to transform the Institute into an independent company. After
the visit, President Vujanovic said that the technology was out-of-date and that
the transformation into an independent company would provide modernisation of
equipment and production. 'This will be a chance to offer war and commercial
ship repair services to the world', President Vujanovic told the
press.

izvrsena provera ispravnosti sirena za uzbunjivanje. Provera ce se izvrsiti
signalom 'prestanak opasnosti' - jednolicnim tonom u trajanju od 60 sekundi, na
celoj teritoriji Republike Srbije (osim Kosova i Metohije). Provere sirena za
uzbunjivanje vrse se u redovnim vremenskim intervalima u svim zapadnoevropskim
zemljama, kao i zemljama u okruzenju. Na teritoriji Republike Crne Gore provere
se redovno izvode svakog petnaestog dana u mesecu, dok je na teritoriji
Republike Srbije (osim uze teritorije grada Beograda) provera poslednji put
izvrsena 15. marta 2004.godine.
On Thursday, April 15th 2004,
at 12.00 p.m., all alarm sirens on the territory of Serbia (except in
Kosovo-Metohija) will be tested with the 'all clear' siren, a 60 seconds long
continuous tone on one note. Testing of the alarm sirens is carried out in all
western European countries, as well as in our neighbouring countries, on a
regular basis. On the territory of Montenegro, such a testing is carried out
every fifteenth day in the month. The last testing on the territory of Serbia
(apart from Belgrade proper) was conducted March 15th this
year.
