Hi I am using Flex 3.0. There are simulators CMPFlex(.OoO) and DSMFlex(.OoO).
1. For cache-coherence protocol, is it that CMPFlex uses snoopy-based cache-coherence protocol, while DSMFlex uses directory-based protocol? 2. According to Flexus Getting Started Guide, if we want to run timing simulation for CMPFlex.OoO, we have to first get flex-points using TraceCMPFlex. My question is, if we want to run timing simulation for DSMFlex.OoO, how to get flex-points first? Do we still use TraceCMPFlex? Thanks. Jerry
