I wish I still had my old collection of AOS/VS manuals but I dumped them
25+ years ago. I still have a lot of printed source code including some
DG internal stuff that was given to my college which had two MV/8000's.
Mostly performance utilities all written in MASM.
Does anyone have a working AOS/VS system on a simulator? I haven't
touched AOS/VS, running on an MV/4000, since 1987.

For the few (any) users of the Eclipse, a serious bug introduced back
in 2005(!) was fixed today. DIVS was testing AC0 instead of AC2 for
the divide by zero condition and producing spurious errors. As a
result, AOS hasn't worked for a decade.
It's now running again. See the GitHub issue list #200. The fix is the
same for 4.x and 3.9.x.
Speaking of DG, I think it's getting to be time to circle back and
look at the MV8000. While higher-level documents are available, the
nitty-gritty design documents are lacking, and so is an online set of
AOS/32 manuals. So if you've been sitting on a stash of DG material,
now would be a good time to bring it into the light...
