I'm not sure exactly which chip is on the controller itself, but that's
not really so relevant. You do not talk directly to the chip anyway. The
Pro controller is called DECNA, and it has it's own programming
interface. But documentation for it exist, so it's mostly a question of
someone taking the time to implement it.

What ethernet did the Pro have? I know that there is a MICROMAX 2000
emulator that uses the Lance ethernet.

Oh cool, I’ll have to look for it - I know basically
nothing about P/OS so I hope it comes with an install
guide..
This is DEC. There were whole manuals on P/OS as well. I
don't know if they are online anywhere. I have paper copies...
But installation is pretty much just insert floppy, and
select installation from the menu. P/OS is all menu driven.
The floppies can be found at Update. However, they are in
teledisk format. I should have them as just image dumps
somewhere as well...

But if there’s no ethernet and the serial ports do nothing,
installing DECnet on it is sort of a pointless exercise :)
Correct. So the question is: are the serial ports implemented in
homer or not? I think I remember seeing that ethernet was not
implemented.
