Matt Burke has implemented the QDSS VCB02 Dragon colour graphics device in his side branch of SimH, as a VAXstation II. I’ve tried a prototype and it seems to work well, up to the limits of VS2 memory limits etc.
I believe he intends to merge it into mainstream SimH in due course, as his time allows. If anyone wants to help, he can be contacted through 9track.net. Also I want to see color display instead of QVSS monochrome. That give full 32-bit physical addressing that give up to 3.5 GB main memory. Feel free to attempt to emulate the graphics on that system. It is a pretty big project. :-) Meanwhile, the VAX simulator does have support (not console) for the QVSS graphics device. That is a mono-chrome only display, but it certainly exercises the basics. - Mark _______________________________________________ Simh mailing list Simh@trailing-edge.com http://mailman.trailing-edge.com/mailman/listinfo/simh _______________________________________________ Simh mailing list Simh@trailing-edge.com http://mailman.trailing-edge.com/mailman/listinfo/simh _______________________________________________ Simh mailing list Simh@trailing-edge.com http://mailman.trailing-edge.com/mailman/listinfo/simh
