xterm also on Mac for me.

I probably don't push things as much as some others, but I find that the stock
terminal window on Mac works fine.

It's okay, but there are some applications I use on RSX that really expose any terminal emulator that don't properly handle some escape sequences, and so far I think that pretty much none I've tried, except for xterm, does it all correct. (I think the one from DEC in Pathworks is also good, but since I don't use Windows, I pretty much never use that one.)

With the stock terminal application on OSX, my first, and obvious problem is that it don't clear the screen if you tell it to use 80 columns, and you are already at 80 columns. Most emulators fails that one, and yes, I have one program I use a lot which depends on it.
