I agree. What I'd like to do is mark (not delete) each page on the
legacy site once it's been migrated. Something like red letters in a
box at the top of the page saying this page has moved. Once all the
information that we want to migrate has been migrated, then revamp/clean
up the legacy site to focus on just the legacy projects.

What projects do we want to document on www.simile-widgets.org? From
an outside user just getting started, the primary ones I know about (and
use) are:

Exhibit
Timeline
Timeplot
Runway
Babel

What about the other graduated projects? Some of these are pretty
cool. (I'd love to get more people using Seek!)

One thought is to use simile-widgets.org for projects that the authors
would be willing to answer support questions about and may update the
source code if problems are found or for better integration with other
technologies. Projects that have no hope for code update, no matter how
useful they are, should probably stay on the legacy site. (Of course,
that site wouldn't be publicly labeled as 'legacy' but simply a list of
working, useful prototype 'use at your own risk' projects that will not
be maintained nor supported.)
