I've committed some fixes to the extension so it should function in IE8. I expect it works in IE6+, but my environment for testing against older IE's isn't in working order right now. > Another question is how much of this fixing is duplication of effort? I know this was covered in other correspondence, but for the sake of public clarity, the extension merely builds on Timeplot-proper. There's no duplication of effort. > Does anybody have any suggestions for the most effective ways of debugging > these problems in IE? sprinkling alert() and printing to console all over IE8 has a debugging environment built in, but previously we included Firebug Lite to help assist with the process. That's one of the reasons the extension didn't work in IE, actually; it was too painful for me to debug, so I never got around to making it work. -- Ryan Lee [email protected] http://simile.mit.edu/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
