We're trying to map some dates that involved both BC and AD features
and since we're using the timeline extension to Exhibit as well as a
map, it would be cool to use the lens formatting features to just put
the year into the lens. However, when we add the G option to the
date formatting for a lens, it gives and error.
Basically we're using the ex:formats="date {template:'yyyy G' ; show:
date}" option in the lens. And we get the error message of
Error: A.getUTCYear is not a function
