Hi, I have maps with up to 7000+ markers. I use Exhibit in the context of the SemanticResultForms extension with the Semantic Media Wiki extension of Mediawiki. The biggest problem has been the 'unresponsive script' warnings by the browsers while the single thread JS executed to generate the db and facets. I therefore had to modify the code at several positions to split up the JS thread into several threads to get rid of them. It needs of course a bit of patience to load several thousand markers. While the IE8 is much, much slower than the other browser mentioned and the display looks much more ugly it does work. Gu
