Just as FYI to people who are interested... I just released a site that includes 8 Exhibits and 1 Timeline. I tried to integrate the Exhibit-type of functionality (facets and multi-panel views) into the site as much as possible rather than keeping it separate. People seem to be getting the hang of the user interface. They especially enjoy the speed at which they can find information. It's far from perfect and you'll find a few bugs here and there.
http://www.dgs.udel.edu/ Exhibit is also used as the main search egine for the site. I'm curious how that's going to work out. Of course, it's not a full text search but with appropriate tagging it just might work. I had thought about including textual summaries as items into the Exhibit database, however, it dramatically increases the size of the database; fine for only a small number of records. I should also say "Thank You!" to the Simile Widget developers/committers and other contributors to the list. It's a great resource and central to how this sites is designed. I've asked many questions directly related to my work on this site and you've supplied me with just as many helpful answers.
