Yes, I pushed a fix into trunk two days ago---it's a problem on IE only due to their handling of XSS. But I may have missed patching the particular branch you're using---which is it?

Has anyone else experienced an "Access is denied" error on IE when using log=true? I just noticed that today (actually, I got a call from a user who couldn't get to a section of our site.) I had to remove the log=true parameter to get the exhibits accessible again.

As a side note, in trunk I noticed jquery 1.4.2 Will that version be standard in the next stable release of exhibit? Thanks.

Hi John. The logger should work regardless of where the code is
hosted. It's already got a hardcoded log url (which you can
    override if you wish).

    Daviid,

I'll be glad to help. However, can I still run exhibit trunk
locally (on my own server) and point to your logging server, say
by hardcoding the value of logServer? Thanks.

        Dear Exhibit users,

This email is seeking your help. As we continue to study
        structured
data on the web, we've embarked on a project to study how
        users interact
with structured data visualizations. A first important step
        is to
gather data. To do so, we've added an _entirely optional and
        opt-in_ logging
module to (the current trunk of) exhibit. We would very much
        appreciate
if you were to enable this logging module so we can test it
        and begin
analyzing data. Doing so requires at most two changes:
        1. use the trunk distribution of exhibit
        (http://trunk.simile-widgets.org/exhibit)
        2. add an "?log=true" argument to the exhibit api line (<script

src="http://trunk.simile-widgets.org/exhibit/api/exhibit-api.js?log=true>)
With these changes, exhibit will begin logging interaction (view
selections, sort actions, facet selections) to our exhibit
        logging
server. You can also do your own logging by adding a
        logServer=URL
argument, but we'd rather you let us collect the data for our
        research!

We of course intend to share any conclusions we are able to
        draw from
use of the data. So we'd very much appreciate if you'd give
        it a try
(and let us know if anything goes wrong).

        Thanks
        David Karger
