I need to set up an Exhibit website where the end users (3 people) should be
able to update the data by themself (from different location)
At the moment, we think of making a Protégé project which will be in charge
of organize facets and their values (a thesaurus)
Hierarchic facets will be written in JSON by an extractor connected to this
project. (this will be done by the admin)
The main thing is the capture of the data and link the thesaurus to the
tool.
In the past, I made a small program based on Protégé to extract all required
data in a JSON format and then uploading this file in web server.
For this project, there is one user requirement which is the collaborative
mode, and real-time update.
I mean that several users (on various location) should be able to update
these data by their own.
I was thinking of using a google spreadsheet (as data are not confidential).
but I was wondering if there were a way to directely values list (which are
maintained in thesaurus) to facilitate the capture (and to respect text
entity captured in the thesaurus)
So, I have 3 issues that I would like to debate:
- Collaborative
- Dynamically update data in web server (data on which we will filter)
- Update values list in the tool where data are captured
