It would be very difficult, expensive and time consuming to produce
comprehensive and useful documentation on timeline.

I have been working with Timeline for a year now.

Timeline is much more complicated than it first appears. There are so many
technologies involved. It has dozens of moving parts. It is difficult to debug
and if you misplace a comma or a bracket, your can lose hours of effort without
a clue as to what went wrong. Its like an all or nothing thing, unlike
procedural programming. You can work for hours on a project and all of a sudden
come up with a blank timeline, which presents no evidence of a solution. And
then it feels like you have to start all over again, feeling like you haven't
learned anything. Frustrating.

My progress is taking much longer than I had expected. But I am not going to
give up, because its potential is just so great, especially if you can get it
to work interactively with databases.

You are not alone, and I hope you can take some comfort from this.

Thanks
