Robert,

If you look in sources.js, you will find a function fillInfoBubble()
within the declaration of Timeline.DefaultEventSource.Event.prototype.
This function controls what is in the popup bubble for your event. By
default the time is displayed with hours, minutes, and seconds.

var divTime = doc.createElement("div");
this.fillTime(divTime, labeller);
theme.event.bubble.timeStyler(divTime);
elmt.appendChild(divTime);

Change the second and third lines to write out the event time as you
wish.

There may be a way to create a custom labeller for your events - I
have never tried that so I don't know. But at least you know where to
start.
