I came across a page page "The Documentation Blitz" that lamented the
fact that developers didn't seem to like writing documentation. But
any developer with a professional attitude knows that documentation is
part of the task: nobody will use a program unless it's obvious or
they can find out what to do.

I came across a page of "How To" papers at
http://www.simile-widgets.org/wiki/HowTo_Articles#Input_Data_Methods,
which said: -
"Feel free to add your own page here. It could be a code snippet, a
method or procedure you used, or a full tutorial. It's up to you. Be
bold! "
So I created an account and tried to add my paper "How to use the
Timeline with ASP.NET and SQL Server", or at least a link to it. I
spend 1/2 an hour trying to find out how one created a new page.
Then I gave up.

If it's this difficult, no wonder people don't bother.
