Hi, I beg everyone's pardon with some newbie questions. I came across Timeline having googled and discovered Brian Croxall's Timeline Tutorial -- And it is brilliant! That led me to Exhibit 2.0, hosted at simile.mit.edu, which I've been playing with for a few days, and which is also, pretty darn brilliant, but a bit opaque to me.
But I gather it has moved to here, and I am trying to find out the status of the project and what I should be using. Now I would like to use Exhibit to create a web page that takes data from a google docs spreadsheet and presents that data as Timeline, Tabular View, and Tile View. (I would also love to take those views and generate printable versions of them.) But I am a bit lost with the "new" website at http://www.simile-widgets.org. Which version of Exhibit should I be using if I - I want something that works and is relatively stable, - Has the most community support" and a forward migration path, - Is reasonably documented? - Is the most understandable to the beginning javascript developer? Thank you, Jerry P.S. I am checking out simile so I can see the code from http://simile-widgets.googlecode.com/svn/. It's been a while since I used svn. What branch or tag corresponds to the released version? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SIMILE Widgets" group.
