Hello. I had this problem too. I see that this post is a few years old but I will post my solution in case someone else needs it.
I opened timeline_js/scripts/sources.js and modified this... link: this._resolveRelativeURL(event.link , base), to link: event.link, You can find this in the Timeline.DefaultEventSource.prototype.loadJSON Hope this helps.
