Hi,
Is blat trying to read stdin?
If so, the problem may be that the file descriptors are not being set up
correctly
between SEC, perl, cmd.exe and blat.
I don't have a system to try this on at the moment, but I suspect that stdin is
getting redirected somewhere else (keyboard perhaps?) and it just hangs.
Try substituting the 'cat' program for blat and see if you can get input
redirected correctly.
