Hello,
I will be installing SIMS on an old Performa 6116CD tonight to replace a mail server
which is starting to have hard drive problems. I'd like to do a clean install of the
operating system etc to make sure everything's stable. It currently has Mac OS 8.5.
Are there any resources or anecdotes out there to help me figure out which is the
highest Mac OS that I should use for that machine?

use is:
SIMS 1.8b8
- amazingly great mail server
KIU (Keep it Up)
- auto reboot and remote performance monitoring
Macjordomo
- Mailing lists
OkeyDokey (not sure if that's the name)
- "Okay"'s and records any dialog boxes so they don't stop things from happening
the system
Retrospect
- Automated Backups over your LAN or the internet
MAPS RBL & others that may arise
- SPAM Blocking
- Paul
