Oh Oh OOOHHH.... Sorry. As far as something like QDPop or AtDot, or
whatever is concerned when it comes to accessing SIMS, it won't matter if
your web server supports multiple domains. The Web front end will only be
talking to your SIMS server's domain (DNS address, or direct IP).
When I was saying I use QPQ to handle multiple domains, I was refering to
the fact that I host multiple web sites, each with different domains, and
each getting different web pages. That is something you can't do with
PWS, MacHTTP, or NetPresenz (there is an applescript "hack" for
NetPresenez to handle multiple domains however).
If you are just interested in getting web access to your SIMS server, and
you want to handle multiple domains, you can either just give everyone a
single page to go to (ignoring the customization for their domain), or
you can set a standard address (like mail.mydomain.com,
mail.myotherdomain.com...), and thru DNS just map them all to the same
web server that is running your web interface. You don't need a
multidomain capable web server for that.
