I've been seeing similar log entries lately for one particular local account.
Other local accounts seem not to be affected. In my case, it's always cleared
itself up within a few hours and queued messages for the affected account are
delivered successfully. The account is set to unlimited size, the server's
hard disk has plenty of free space, and the 'cannot deliver' incidents have
occured during the night when the user who belongs to the account is not
checking mail (and thus holding the mailbox file open). This particular user
is the production manager for a magazine publisher, so she regular gets
relatively large attachments (graphic files). In fact, the first time I became
aware of this phenomenon was when she complained about not getting an expected
message with an attachment. I don't think the attachments are a problem, but I
have no solid evidence one way or t'other. BTW, this is w/ 1.8b8 under OS 8.6.
