Since SIMS runs on Macs, these attachments do not really present a problem for you. Of
course, they may be a problem for users of Windows PCs...
However, I think it is not the mail server application where this should be handled,
but the individual PCs. I think there are several windows-based anti-virus
applications available which your users could install on their machines.
It would be problematic if you'd filter out these attachments. There can be legitimate
reasons to send attachments with these extensions to another user, and I don't think a
Mac-application can determine what ".exe" is dangerous and what not.
The issue should be resolved either at the sending PC (prevent files being sent by a
viurus) or at the receiving PC using anti-virus protection.
