Best thing to do here, IMO, is a controlled test. Send her an e-mail
message and monitor the logs; you should easily be able to see the message
arrive and be placed into her inbox, and then reflected out to AOL.
(I've got the feeling that there's a communications garble here, and that
what she really means is that the mail isn't showing up on AOL until hours
or days later - which is actually par for the course for AOL.)
