Yes, it does. The "Advertise Auth Capability" check box has nothing to do with the support of it... it is always turned on. The advertise simply toggles if the EHLO response will indicate that Auth is supported (I think some email clients want to see that, but so far, I have never run into one that requires it). SIMS supports the following Auth types: Plain, Login, CRAM-MD5. The EHLO display also lists Digest-MD5, but I seem to recall Dimitry telling me in the past that it doesn't work correctly, and that a future version of SIMS was going to remove the mention of it.
