Yes, SIMS supports SMTP AUTH. I use it when sending mail from home through my server at work. It beats the heck out of 'check-before-send.' The 'Advertise AUTH Capability' setting means that SIMS can list the AUTH commands in response to an EHLO. As I understand it, having the setting turned off doesn't disable AUTH, it just means that SIMS doesn't tell anyone that it's supported. > Are there up-to-date docs somewhere?
