Yup. I've since learned that following the "220" there should either be a space 
followed by the host name or a hyphen (indicating a multi-line response) followed by 
the host name. So, yes, an automated tester would be correct to assume that "Stalker" 
is the host name since it immediately follows the "220-".

So it's either
220 hostname single line response here\r\n

or

220-hostname first line of multi-line response\r\n
220 next line of a multi-line response\r\n

At least, according to the RFC.

So SIMS has this minor departure from the RFC, as do many other MTAs. No Big Deal. I 
was just curious to know if dnsreport.com was correct or not.
