That's interesting. The document(s) describing SMTP (take your pick: RFC821, STD0010, RFC2821) say that all the actual SMTP-command-parts end with "CRLF" (Unix endings being "LF", and Mac endings being "CR"). >Stalker: any chance that SIMS (even though it's a mac only application) could >become smart enough to handle either case? Actually, it would be nice to know what SIMS expects for line-endings in messages in: a) the Queue; b) the Submitted folder. I suspect that SIMS is probably just looking for the "CR"; that would make it work with messages that were _received_ from elsewhere (i.e., they contain "CRLF"), and also for messages that were created on the mac (i.e., they only contain "CR"). Unfortunately for Joseph, it means Unix-style line endings (i.e., containing only "LF") _won't_ work.... Michael A.
