I agree with you that Bigpond are definitely lacking in their setup
& are definitely behind the times in regards to charging (but that's a
whole other story), but I deal with Telstra Direct, a sort of wholesale
division unrelated to Bigpond Home. Their service & ability is far superior
to that of the consumer Bigpond.
I also deal with OzEmail, who are actually bigger than Bigpond
despite media reports & Telstra hype & who are owned by MCI Worldcom. While
others have reported difficulties in dealing with them, I have been dealing
with them since 1995 - they have been excellent in handling any problems I
have come across in this regard. Unfortunately, they, like us all, suffer
from trying to stop all spam - largely unsuccessfully.
Anyhow, now back to SIMS discussions.
