I have to admit the 2 drives wasn't anything flesh at all, and I certainly will see if I could get my hand on other drives for spin, but it was funny that you asked if the drive went out of space before, as it was the same thing that striked me when it first crashed, and the answer was 'No': SIMS18b8 was on a 1 GB drive with more that 700 MB left free, same situation on the second crash, which was on another drive (2 GB this time, and 1.3GB free when crashed, SIMSv17) I even guessed it was a faulty built-in ethernet card like those horrible one in old NUBUS PowerMaces, again I was wrong.
Looks like higher verison of MacOS and OT should be my last chance, but thinking of 48MB ram running running 8.1 or higher....stressful don't you think? >0< Thanks anyway Terry, thanks again. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry Allen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "SIMS Discussions" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, April 25, 2002 4:46 PM Subject: Re: 18b8 died on me, so did 17, but why now? > >It have been smooth, stable, for almost a year and the nitemare started last > >week, the busiest season of the year (as my job g). > > > >there are a few things bugging me. > > > >#1.Opentransport bug as it apeared in the log (SIMS 18b8 with OT1.1.2 on a > >PPMac7600/OS 7.6.1/48M/1GB) > >#2.
