Hi again,
        Stripped back to a bare extension set, I have Mac OS 9.1 running in
about 18MB of RAM - I still think it may be something corrupted though. Go
for a higher OS & see what happens - higher Open Transport - which would be
natural with a newer OS - ought to assist.
        I don't think SIMS will be at fault - anything else running at the
same time app-wise?
