Someplace I probably have an archive of the QuidProQuo CGI I wrote in AppleScript for submitting form email to SIMS. Only allowed you to send to one of a few accounts which were hard coded. Rather than futz with SMTP, it simply dropped the mail into the SIMS "submitted" folder to be processed. If you want it I can dig it out... (Along with the HTML web page that called it.)
