I was making the comparison between OS 9.x and OS 10.x -- I'm not familiar with the latest OS 10.x version and don't know if the numbers have changed, although I have no reason to believe they'd be any smaller. I just haven't moved to OS X yet on my server. You should be fine with 8.6 also.
