Would that it were true, but it *is* currently unlawful to advertise a product via unsolicited fax, and yet I get 1-2 of those per day. I have been through a protracted (greater than one year long) process with the FCC to try to prosecute *one* sender. Now at least one US District Court has ruled that a ban on junk faxes is unconstitutional. One thing I'd like to change is the relative anonymity of toll-free telephone numbers.
